چکیده
Abstract Background Natural products play a key role in treating different ailment including diabetes, asthma, skin diseases, and cancer. It is well known that synthetic drugs elicit significant toxicity when used the clinic. A higher drug affinity towards carrier protein Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) would enhance bioavailability which turn leads to therapeutic efficacy. The focus of present study was investigate antioxidant anti-cancer potential 5-hyrdoxy1-methylpiperidin-2-one (5-HMP) isolated from leaves Tragia involucrata . Methods material In vitro free radical scavenging assays MTT assay were employed assess activity 5-HMP cytotoxicity on lung cancer cell line, A549, respectively. addition, attempts made binding capacity BSA by spectral studies molecular docking. Results data revealed inhibited radicals with an IC 50 value 49.55 ± 0.75 μg/ml comparable values afforded l -ascorbic acid. exhibited dose-dependent A549 cells 30.00 0.55 μg/ml. further induced cycle arrest at S G2/M phase. fluorescence quenching observed increasing concentration 5-HMP, reacts fixed (1.0 μM). indicated constant K = 2.8 1.4 × 10 4 M −1 corresponding energy (ΔG)−6.06 K.cal/mole. Conclusions This paper concluded possesses properties, cytotoxic effects also it good properties bovine serum albumin.

Dietary flavonoids show beneficial effects in the prevention of chronic diseases. However, flavonoid bioavailability is poor, probably due to their interaction with serum albumins. In the current work, the binding interactions of eight related flavonoids, sharing a similar core structure, with bovine serum albumin (BSA) were investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy. The binding affinities of t...
متن کاملN-myc downstream regulated gene 2 overexpression reduces matrix metalloproteinase-2 and -9 activities and cell invasion of A549 lung cancer cell line in vitro
Objective(s):N-myc downstream regulated gene 2 (NDRG2) is a candidate gene for tumor suppression. The expression of NDRG2 is down-regulated in several tumors including lung cancer. The aim of this study was to explore the effect of NDRG2 overexpression on invasion, migration, and enzymatic activity of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and -9 (MMP-9) in human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells. Ma...
